We offer group and private instruction for all ages - toddlers and school-age students. Our fun and conversational method is presented through fun and engaging age-appropriate activites.

Spanish Classes for Toddlers

The first step towards guaranteeing that your child will speak Spanish is to get her or him started as early as possible. We have a special program called Spanish for Tots and Parents that focuses in exposing your child - through songs, games and fun activities - with the basic everyday phrases and vocabulary in Spanish that will become part of his or her first words. Classes meet for 50 minutes and require a parent or guardian to attend with the toddler. Everyobdy participates and everybody learns.

Our methodology wants to take advantage of the initial language development stages of your child. At first we want your child to be able to respond to simple verbal requests in Spanish. We want them to acknowledge and react to the different sounds of words in Spanish that will become the foundation of their future vocabulary. By 15 to 18 months, we expect them to start saying their first single words, and by 18 to 24 months, short phrases. After 2 years he or she will be able to recognize words in Spanish related to people, objects and body parts. As the 3 year bench mark approaches, they will be able to follow simple instructions in Spanish and repeat more words and short phrases.

Group Classes for School-Age Students

Spanish Language Center for Kids is the only language school that properly places school-age students in agreement with their corresponding school grade. This allows students to interact with peers who are at the same development stage and share similiar interests and experiences.

• Classes meet once a week for 8 consecutive weeks
• Class duration is: one (1) hour and twenty (20) minutes
• Class tuition is: $240.00
• Minimum students per group is: 4

Spanish language private, semi-private, tutoring

If your child needs or prefers personalized attention we can also provide Spanish classes or tutoring on a one-on-one basis. When help is need with material currently covered in school, what you need is a tutor and we have one for you. If your child wants to learn or improve upon current skills or needs extra practice, then we can provide a class based on our methodology. In either case, our instructor/tutor will advance at your childs' pace.

Semi-private classes are available if you have a small group of kids who would like to take classes together.

Classes at our site may take place in either our Downtown, Lakeview or Palatine locations. If you prefer to have classes at your site, a traveling fee will be added depending on your location.
