Assessment for Spanish Classes
Who doesn't need an assessment
You don't need an assessment if you are an absolute Intro level student. Maybe you have studied Spanish in the past, but you accept the fact that you need to start from zero. No assessment needed for you. Just register for the Intro 1 class (see details) . If you do not think you belong in the Intro 1 class, then you must take an assessment.
ALL new students to our school who do not consider themelves Intro 1 students MUST take the assessment.
Self Assessment
The self assessment consists on sentences that you should know how to say in every corresponding level. When you click on CLICK HERE FOR ASSESSMENT a PDF file will pop up with your questions.

Introductory |
This assessment will ask you to say 20 phrases in Spanish. You must say each in no more than45 secons. You must get 14 right to pass.

Beginner |
This is a two part assessment. The first part will ask you to say 20 phrases in Spanish. The second will present 15.
You must comfortably pass 14 or more in the first and 10 in the second to be an intermediate. If not, you are a Beginner. If it is too difficult, you are an Intro student.

Your are an Advanced level student if can read and understand this:
Si puedes entender esto y has estudiado español por muchos años, pues probablemente tu nivel sea avanzado. Para este nivel es importante poder hablar con cierta fluidez y tener conocimiento de todos los tiempos (presente, pasado, futuro, subjuntivo, etc). Para este nivel tenemos clases de conversación conducidas por instructores capacitados para ayudar con el vocabulario, los tiempos (tenses), estructuras correctas y especialmente para mantener la conversación fluida. Esta clase ayuda a obtener confianza, mejorar pronunciación y entendimiento, y sobretodo pasarla bien mientras aprendemos.
